Lucia wilson

I was 9-10 years old, when I started making necklaces and bracelets with beads, shells, wire and fishing lines. By making and remaking in different combinations and forms, I got experience.

With 16's, I left home and went to Lagos (south of Portugal), to start a little business, selling my creations in the street and in the markets.

10 years later (1986) I rented a small shop, expanding my business connecting African dealers and travelling to Asia in the search of genuine, originals and antiquities and jewellery.

In 1991 I went to Sri Lanka, beautiful country, full of gems and goldsmiths! There I was lucky enough to meet a Master Goldsmith, his two sons and two young helpers. The master retired in 2012 at the age of 86.

Today I still work with one of the sons and the "helpers", (they turned into excellent Goldsmiths), which eases a lot for the realisations of my ideas. I spend three months every year in Sri Lanka to supervise their work.

All my jewellery is hand made in 960 silver and/or 18ct gold, and natural stones.

We can realise your ideas, restoring work, copying (ex. lost earring etc.) and repairs.
